Our Vision
Imagine you are sailing leisurely in the southern Mediterranean. Land comes into view in front of you. You can’t believe your eyes, because where you have only seen brown, dry wasteland for the last few years, a green ribbon stretches out. You see flowers, palm and fig trees and cultivated plants such as tomatoes and beans. Exotic birds land on your bow, and further inland the solar cells of the desalination plants glisten. It’s finally done! The coastal regions are fertile again and the hinterland will follow. You know that all this helps the people here, generates jobs, income and security. It helps nature and is sustainable. The journey has only just begun…
