Market situation

The market for used but still functional photovoltaic cells (PV cells) is growing steadily.
Many PV projects were realised 15-20 years ago and are now coming to the end of their service life. However, this does not mean that the PV cells are defective, but only that they are being replaced for economic reasons.

Application

Today’s PV cells are much more efficient than previous generations. This means that more power (kWh) can now be generated on the same area (roof).

As the surface area is less relevant in agriculture, lower-performance PV cells can be used until the end of their service life (approx. 30-40 years).
